Douglas Newman, President & Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Newman has 37 years of management, marketing, product and business development, operations, and technology experience in information, insurance, private banking, retail banking, and payment/card businesses. He joined Global Credit Services, in 2010, as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, and was responsible for all marketing, sales, and clients service. In 2014, he was promoted by the Board of Trustees to his current role.
Previously, he was Vice President of Market & Business Development for Innovis Data Solutions, a credit information and decision-based analytics business. He was the Chief Operating Officer, responsible for digital properties of Americana Financial, a wholesale and retail insurance brokerage. Previously, Mr. Newman was the Citigroup Private Bank’s Global Director of Marketing. In addition, other posts held included Director of Marketing for Citicorp Insurance Services and Director of Electronic Product Development for Citicorp’s Development Division. He also held various product development, management, marketing, and business development positions with Bank of America, MasterCard Worldwide, and Citigroup’s credit card business. Mr. Newman holds a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude with distinction in economics, from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA in marketing and finance from the University of Chicago.
